Default L-SPORTLINE Exhaust installed- GS400

Hey guys, since the cat out of the bag regarding my car, I can share my opinion on the L Sportline Exhaust system. I actually just had these installed yesterday, and did some riding around today. The fittiment is excellent, my shop guy only charged me 50 bucks to put them in since they required no extensions, special hangers, etc.

Sound- I love the sound, I am not a very aggresive guy when it comes to sound, so I did not want a loud vehicle. My ladies (g/f and daughter) will not tolerate a constant drone or loud wail in my car, plus I dont like it too loud either. IMO these sound perfect, they have a nice deep mellow rumble at startup, and they sound kinda like a American throaty V8 from about 500-2400rpm, then they pretty much go quiet. This set up is perfect for me because when i'm cruising in the street and tapping the gas, they sound good, but once I hit about 50mph, I forget they are there. IMO they sound like a luxury V8 should, nothing to 'F' with, but not too loud!!

Appearance- I have always loved the way these compliment the L-Sportline rear bumper, since they extend past the bumper just a little. I prefer the tips to pass the bumper rather than be flush with it, I know opinions on that one vary . Also, they remind me of revolver pistols, so now i'ma bad boy!!! LOL. I picked these up last Thursday and as god as my witness I have polished them about 3-6 times!!! I have never had an exhaust system before, this is great

Here are a few before/ install/ after pics (YES it was snowing here yesterday!)

I know when they put mine on the OEM bolts were so rusted on they welded the bolts to the stock exhaust to get them off. But thats to take the stock ones off. What the hell is he welding on???

I have the exhaust on my 300. I have nothing to compare it to but im very happy with it. Its not super loud like those coffee cans ricers have. It gives the exhaust a slightly high pitched note to it. Kinda like a porche or ferreri. The only downside to them is at high RPM it makes a slight whistle. Im not sure if it does it on the V8s but it does on my I6. I can make a AVI of the sound I just need some where to host it.

Mine have the same higher rpm whistle. Basically above 4000-4500 rpm.

I actually think that they are quieter than the L-tuned exhaust.
I didn't care for the 2000 rpm drone on the L-tuned. L-Sportsline definitely has a quieter drone around 2000rpm than the L-tuned.
