Yesterday I went to RCTS in Calgary Canada to have my car Dynoed, My best run was Max power 283.7 and max torque 284.9, @ the wheels. Not bad for a GS with 335000 km on it. I guess the RMM cold air intake and TTE quad exaust combo payed off well, BTW i had to remove the TM spark plugs due to misfire problems so for the dyno I had new Stock GS denso plugs in. I will Scan and have the Dyno sheet posted later this week. OH YEAH if you have never herd of RCTS check this out www.monsterhorsepower.com

Wow, those are some really great dyno numbers, esp. w/ the mileage. I guess it attests to the durability of the 1UZ engine. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I'm just curious, as everyone has been touting the Torque Master plugs (TM), how many miles do you have on them? Did the misfiring problem just start appearing when you dynoed the car?

I think the misfire started when I first put them on (Jan 2K3) But it was not that noticeable. Just last week by car was missfiring alot and it was very noticeable so I took them off before I went to RCTS. I forgot to mention that Reg did do some ecu adjustment when my car was being dynoed, He has a Computer software program from toyota that gives him full access to the ECU that lexus delerships dont even have. It must pay off working for TTE. He also Retro fit an HKS filter system to the RMM intake.

Remapping of the main ECU, that's pretty cool. That's also a first as well that I've heard of.
Concerning the TM spark plugs, from your info, it sounds that either you got a bad set or they really aren't all that. For the time being, I'll be sticking w/ the OEM Denso iridium plugs.
Great info--I'd like to see your dyno when you get.

I am going to be ordering another set of TM plugs, they do make the car feel more responsive. I did not realy think they made much differance at first, but now going back to the Denso plugs i know what i once had with the TM's. I will go back and get another dyno done when i get new ones.

What was your HP before he started playing with the ECU? What kind of dyno were they using?
Those are some VERY impressive HP numbers, the most I have ever seen on any GS posted here by at least +15 HP.

Great numbers.
And a very interesting site. Are you sure they programmed/reprogrammed your stock ECU?! Not saying it can't be done, but it would be the first I have heard. And far better than the kludges most tuners use to work around the stock ECU.

Excellent numbers but are they raw or SAE adjusted?

some dyno's tell you your rwhp and other tell the rwhp an calculate the wind resistance, the weight, and down force, called a mustang dyno i believe. when i picked my car up from a install, hph was running a 2001 prelude on the dyno w/jackson supercharger, with all the ingredients i mentioned before it pulled 211 rwhp...the owner was telling me he was wanting to hit around 235-240ish, but the guy running the computer said he would be around those numbers without the downforce ect....
