Default What's the RPM's in various gears

My 2001 GS300 seems to rev higher than other 6 cylinder 5-speed automatics I've owned. I just bought it recently (used).

At a steady 100kph (about 62 mph), the tach reads 2500 rpm; at 120kph, it reads 3000 rpm - both of these are in 5th gear.

My SAAB (similar sized 6 cylinder engine) revs at 2000 rpm at 100kph. My son's Audi A4 (6 cylinder) also revs at 2000 rpm at 100kph.

What's your experience?

Thanks for the info.
