Cool

It is the idler pulley. If you have a GS400/430 the pulley is the top most one. Next to the radiator hose and intake pipe. I had my replaced under warranty twice. The last time the dealer also changed the belt.

Just look over the invoice even though it was cover under warranty they listed the price for internal accounting. Please note that I have a GS430 and the part number may not be the same as for GS400. Which GS do you have? I know it is the idler that is squeeking because my past experience with the 92 SC400 and 95 SC400 all had squeeky idler pulley problem.

Materials listed:
- 90916-02463 V-Ribbed Belt Listed: $113.93 Net: $40.24
- 16630-50011 Pulley Assembly Idler Listed: $89.24 Net: $32.36
- 16604-50030 166040F010 (I don't know what this part is) Listed: $73.69 Net: $26.36
- AF555 Prestone, Lowtox coolant Listed: $15.61 Net: $13.75
(I guess they had to remove the radiator hose to get to all the pulley and belt. Got a free
radiator fluid change.)

If you go to the parts section you can enter the part number to find out what it is and which car it applies to. Sometimes there are also pics to identify it.
