Default Torque Converter

A friend of my wants to get a supercharger kit for his GS but he wants to get the Torque Converter first. His question is that if he buys the converter for SC application (since the stall speed is different then the regular), will the car run fine with that converter for a while?

Anyone?

Thanks

It will run fine. The stall for an SC is higher than the stock converter but lower than the "high stall" you would normally get for a NA car.

Get the T/C - Precision Industries offers one free stall speed adjustment (I think within the first year - maybe 2)

Yes they do. But it's still a lot time, effort and cost to get the free adjustment.

How long does it take to get the TC from PI. I made the order about 2 weeks ago. How long did it take for yours to arrive?

Thanks

mine arrived in 4 days, but i gave my fed ex number to them (sent 2nd day air). i guess it's a function of how busy they are. give them a call, they should be able to tell you if your shipped and give you a tracking number.
