Default Supercharger Install

I decided to install the supercharger today and took some pics of the process. The instructions that RMM supplies with the kit is poor at best. I took several pictures which would be helpful to those about the install their own kits or for their mechanic. They will go a long way in reducing much of the guess work from the install and reducing labor costs for those having someone else install the kit. In fact most of the install was done with my automotive background and the instructions as a reference as that is all it is good for. RMM supplies pictures , but they are very poor dark copies and are useless. Must be using a Xerox.

Problem being is that I am missing several parts and did not know this until the install since there is no parts sheet listing all of the parts in the kit and the one on their website is not accurate as I can tell.
Parts missing:
1) air filter
2) spacers
3) 11 bolts
4) PS reservoir adapter
5) intake pipe
6) MAF gasket

Also the turbines in the supercharger are rubbing.
I will be at RMM in the morning to discuss how they ,"triple checked" everything to ensure all the pieces were there. Man I feel for those that are waiting to have their kit shipped. Perhaps I should do an inventory check of the kits while I'm there.
My only concern thus far is that the kit eliminates the oil level sensor from the car as the hole is used for the supercharger oil draining back into the pan. This is simpler than taping the pan I suppose as the oil pan does not come out easily in these cars, but still...it would be nice to have retained it. Say I hit something on the freeway that breaks the oil pan.
So the install is almost complete. The intercooler was mounted after I removed my custom B&M trans cooler. I removed the radiator and cleaned it out since I was already dirty and it makes things go alot faster.
The RMM parts are of quality. Too bad they are not all there.

I took a ton of pics, but will post only a few here. Perhaps put the rest on my server for others involved in an SC install to download.
Below are some pics:

The angle of the tee and oil line is critical for clearance and routing.

What I have left to do:

Complete piping and SC install. 1 hour
Attach oil lines-15 minutes
Attach bumper-30 minutes
Reroute PS reservoir with new hoses and bracket -15 minutes
Install injectors-I did count them-8 qty-2 hours at the most
Clean throttle body since I'm there-10 minutes
All fluids as I drained everything-20 minutes
Install Apexi SFC-II unit-. Have no idea. Have factory manuals for reference.
Should be done within the next day or so. Dyno tuning will follow this week as well. Wish me luck.

Wow Lee, that's some pretty good progress! I absolutely hate it when I'm assembling something and all the parts aren't there. Expecially wasting an hour looking for them.

This post doesn't instill a lot of faith in RMM in me. I think I'll hold off on ordering a SC from them. It may be a moot point since there are very few, if any, left. Hmm, you don't think they're scavenging parts from remaining kits as the supply dwindles, do you? I'm in Kentucky and don't have the luxury of dropping by to get missing parts. Good luck with the install.

I too find it odd that RMM can not have all the parts to what a $5000 kit???? If it were, say a $100 kit I can have some leinency but come on you spent a lot of money for the kit, all the parts should be present and accounted for no?
From what you have done, great work and you are correct, it already looks beefy sitting there. lol Good luck and can't wait for more pics.

Could be the distance, but the top intercooler bracket does not appear to be installed properly. Has 2 bolts up top. Could be the distance though. Also, where did you install your horns? Down below?

BTW- short of installing the kit at RMM, it was impossible to check if ALL of the parts were in the kit as stated above. Like I said above, there is NO parts list. But thank you for the advice anyway.
