Dave,
that A/F is awesome. Flat all the way. Shows how I need some tuning. I am waiting to hear back from Swift. I sent them an email this morning with the dyno. Hopefully I can get the ECU back within a week or so.

Pearl,

Can I assume you have a good amount of experience working on cars? There is no way I could even imagine DIY'ing an SC install.

thanks Romini. When you have owned as many Porsches and BMW's as I have, you learn to be able to work on cars or go broke.

Great dyno comparisons... Dave, your AF is about 12 all the way across, and Batlground here tuned my NA car for 14 (leaner than 12) all the way across. I wonder which is better, or maybe both are given mine is NA and yours FI.

Jaime's and Lee's are LEAN at low rpms!

I admit it is nice to spend money on mods instead of repair/

72 downloads of the video. Wow. Need some kill videos once car is completely tuned. Too bad I did not get one of the black G35 yesterday that could not figure out why this GS was pulling away so hard. The expression was

now is that really necessary? you know what really............"upsets" me? back when i had my GS, RMM said that the SC was discontinued. i found one that someone was selling, called SRT for the to see if they could make an ECU, and marken called the same evening that i totalled my whip. ok, im just venting now. my girl says that i should be over the GS by now. but she will never understand. congrats on the kill....

Mo tuned mine to be on the upper edge of moderate / conservative based on a conversation he and I had (vs an aggressive tune for max power). I suspect it's better to be a little safer when you're adding the extra wear & tear that comes with FI.

Sorry Doc, . At least you have a very fine steed for a replacement. Plus I understand FI is available for it as well.

Yes, I guess 12 is richer and thus less aggressive than 14. I think when Batlground tuned mine, it was richer (around 12 I think) at 4000 rpms and up, and they tuned it a bit leaner to 14 across the board since it was NA they didn't anticipate any problems.

What you might do is use 14 at lower rpms and 12 on the higher end to be on the safe side.

Thanks Dave.
