SAFC and GS430
Anyone install a SAFC on a GS430? I've seen previous posts on safc and gs3/gs4. Was wondering if the wire schematic T10-a will work on a GS430.
TIA.
TIA.

This came off my IS300. Installation of the SAFC isn't that hard. All I need to know is which wiring schematic to use for the GS430. I will dyno tune the car after intake and exhaust.

Do you have the S-FAC1 or 2? I checked to see if anyone put one on a 430 a few months ago and no luck. The company was of no help when I called them.
From what I've been able to figure out, the T11-b diagram with sensor type HW-25 should work for the 430.
Are you going to put the S-AFC on w/ your SRT intake??

I bought the SRT intake used. When I installed it, all sorts of lights came on. My friend had the same ecu. I tried his and it was fine. I've sent the piggy back ecu back to SRT and still waiting. I was just checking to see if anyone installed a SAFC 1 on a GS430. If there is something wrong with the piggy back ecu, I might install the SAFC instead. I am thinking of getting Apexi WS II exhaust. Would it be better if I use the SAFC and have it dyno tuned? thanks.

The SRT ECU does the samething as the S-AFC. But I think if you tune it right w/ the S-AFC you'll actually fine tune it for your particular car ( exact car internals and alttitude) Just my opinion.
Did you ever find out what was wrong w/ the SRT ECU. My guess is that it was shorted out or something.
Do you still need that GS 430 wire schematic for the S-AFC?

Mo from SRT changed 2 chips on it. But when I installed back on the car. It still did the same thing. I've tried it on my friends car and still did the same. So I just sent it back to Mo and have him take a look again. If it comes back the same, I might have to go with the S-AFC route.
I've downloaded the wire schematic for S-AFC II from Apex-i's website.
Thanks for the help

I'll reply for Leeshdw as he's in china for a month. Last conversation I had with him, is that Mo recieved the ECU and has not had time to look at it yet. Now he may have since then as I won't find out until Leeshdw returns in november.

Are you going to hookup the S-AFC up w/ it also,? I was thinking that it should work , I'm not sure if there would be much of a benefit tuning it past the SRT's ECU. It would be nice even if to use it to just monitor some engine functions. I've been toying w/ the idea..
