Default EXHAUST.....What kind of brand is Hayame?

Thanks in advance.

I was at a shop today and found a "quality-looking" Stainless Steel Muffler for a good price. Its by a brand that I've heard of, Hayame, but I don't know if the brand is good or bad. Also, I will be getting custom oval tips put on the muffler if I decide to buy.

Here is a pic from a different shop:

It doesn't have to be the BEST, like Borla, Magnaflow, or LSportline but it DEFINITELY can NOT make the car sound like a CIVIC or DECREASE horsepower or make the car LOUD AND ANNOYING.

Please answer as soon as possible.

I think Hayame is made in Korea? It's probably just as good as any weld on muffler, but I wouldnt get it if I were you. check out the Apex world sport, or RMM

I always think an exhaust is an exhaust.....it's more to complete the looks than anything (unless you are FI'ed, then it becomes a serious deal). The Hayame looks like a nice unit with the cool etching on the side. You should try to get someone who owns the exhaust and hear it. I don't think it will sound like a civic.

My buddy had dual Hayame exhaust on his 3Z and it sounded pretty good. of course w/ the 2JZ I'm thinking the sound would be more rumbly..... but who knows....

Hayame is as GENERIC as you can get, and DEFINITELY not worthy to be fitted upon a Lexus...
