hey guys... im planning on supercharging or turboing my 430... not that its happening soon or anything but its an idea thats been floating around in my mind... just wondering what the price range is for a supercharge or turbo on the gs 430...

if i do decide to get the forced induction done, it'll probably be done at SRT but i was just wondering what the price ranges are for the different stages...

and for those people who already have forced induction on a 400 or 430... is it really worth the money? im already happy with the V8 but when i hear of all the supercharing and turboing getting done, it makes me want to get it too... im only a highschooler and as of now its a real big step but it isn't going to happen for awhile.. nor will it be in the near future, but it is on my wishlist...

btw... are turboes for the GS430 more expensive than the superchargers for the 430?

I think a custom setup with a rmm supercharges would be most cost efective.
Pearlpower is selling his setup for the GS400 right now.

supercharger would be checaper... but watch out for the callssifieds i think stef might be selling his turbo..

Stef has a GS300 so his turbo setup would be useless to Brian. Stick to a RMM kit. Is the cheapest way with a good 100 hp to the wheels

For GS400/430, I would definitely go with supercharge kit !!! As matter of fact, Hiro (Username Abflug_GS) is getting one pretty soon. Him and I were debating all day and night about BryanGS430's question..... "which way to go"

Supercharger is cheaper and most importantly reliable. (My opinion that is). Hiro's trying to buy Lee's used supercharge kit and his Fcon Vpro management system, hopefully this will work on 430 engine.

Spark motorshop (Who did my 2JZ GTE w/T88R engine swap) can do "custom" manifold and turbo system for 400/430, but not recmd !!!

I LOVE that V8 motor sound!!! Good luck B...

i guess supercharging is more in my price range... and is more reliable...

just wondering... are there different stages of supercharge like the turboes? (srt stage 1, stage 2, stage 3?) or is there just THE supercharge... and does SRT make superchargers? i went to their site and it have nothing on superchargers...

guess the supercharge is on my TO-DO list... prolly happen in the next two years or so? haha that sounds weird. such a long time period....

i have some pics on the digi cam.. but im a bit computer stupid and don't know how to upload and all that... the pics i have arent too great either... in the spring when i have time to go take some shots and stuff... and maybe some more mods... , i'll go get some pics of the car that are worthy...
