Need a litte advice. I ordered a injen cold air itake. I was told that this was not the one to buy by a guy that works @ the dealer here. He recommended the srt one. Which one is better? Or is there any thing else out there that will work just as good.

Is this for a Gs400 or Gs300?
I have the Gs4 with SRT intake + ECU right now, It is worth the $$$
U will gain like 25WHP on the Gs4 and like 10WHP on the IS300 or gs300.
I will not go with injen,
First of all they are cold air intakes and they set of codes...
I have had 2 buddies to do this, 1 on is3 and one on 04maxima.. They both had problems with injen, but it sounds great when U hit VVTI around 5,000RPM's

With the injen intake, There is no Chip.
With the SRT unit, There is a Chip.
So when U install the intake unit, U also have to install the piggy back unit that it comes with.
A skilled mechanic can do this no problem, SRT gives u all the instructions on how to install the whole system from intake to the chip.
Just be careful that U give it to someone who knows what their doing... or U will have problems with the chip.
I remember that if not installed properly it will set off your check engine light.....
Unless U want the injen kit+ SAFCII unit+ tuning which at the end gives a little more HP but cost a lot more $$$$
Go SRT Dude!
Hope this helps.

~Typically around 240 or so, depending on the dyno, weather and other variables.
~The 225 HP figure given by lex400pshR is very low.
~I wouldn't expect a 30 HP gain from just the SRT intake (in spite of what the website claims).
