i wonder without the lsd how much cheaper it can get?

email todd@tmengineering.net about it, they are a vendor here

and if you want it without lsd, if you want used, i think on supraforums there should be quite a few

If I were you, I'd save my money and get the lsd. You won't regret it

Agree with Rom, I'm thinking used would be your best option. But you should be able to get a good deal since nobody else wants them.

Wait till you can afford the LSD equipped diff. With the lower gearing and NO LSD, you will have a traction issue....

seems like everyone is suggesting wait for the lsd unit

but seriously, if you look for a 3.76 without lsd... i don't think it's going to be much cheaper than one with lsd?

well i just found a junkyard sellin one for 500 w/o lsd so i'm thinkin of jumping on it and gettin either a trd or other lsd later. price should come out the same. but i certainly dont want traction to be compromised.

no.... that's super expensive. let's see

i got my supra tt lsd used for 500. someone i know also got it for 500 not too long ago.

if you get this for 500 now, then you pay 200 bucks for install. later you get trd lsd unit for about 500 bucks (say), but then you have to pay like 600 bucks for the install, that's a total of 1800 for a trd lsd on a USED 3.76 gear. that doesn't make any sense to me.

I assume you are referring to the 3.76 rear end from a SupaTT?? Was there even an option for no LSD on that rear end???

Thanks to one of the EARLY Cl group buys through Steve Ganz, I got my 3.76
SupraTT rear end new in the crate for $500. Had it and L-Tuned shocks both installed for $200 total.....wish all of the mods I had would have been such a steal.......

apparently there were quite a few supras made without the lsd (newer ones i believe). i guess the days of finding one cheap are over since even used ones are going for 1200+ (that i can find). guess i gotta keep looking ;p

That's a fantastic price. How long ago was that?

With a 3.76 and not LSD you're gonna be spinning one wheel a LOT! And your VSC light will be on a LOT, especially on curves. I would NOT do it. And $500 is too high for a non-LSD diff.

Agree... you will also wear down your rear brake pads a whole lot faster due to vsc trying to make corrections .

400 was a great price!
Mine was 1700 but I still consider it well worth it for the performance gains.
Based on reading the threads, if you managed to get one it was like hitting the lottery.
I remember a few months back there was a special on l-sportline body kits. By the time I saw it, they were all gone. At least I got in on the L-tune aero pkg for 270
