All it is is steel tubing, whatever thickness, and then you just need a couple days and a pipe bender, welder...ect. quite easy to do if you know how to cut, bend, and weld.

Easier said than done.

Well of course, but if you really sit and think about it, you just need a bender, a cutter and a welder, and some time to get it right. thats how people do their own turbo kits.

No argument on the cut, bend& weld statement above, but your previous post said "QUITE EASY".

A lot of imports don't have as complex a piping, you can buy 90 degree elbows and straight pipe kits on Ebay, no problem and get it done in a day. The RMM piping has a couple of acute angles and precise double bends to fit around the bumper brace. So it's a little more involved work than your average Honda install.

My point is, I wouldn't want people to think that an average DIY person can build up this system in their garage. It's not a weekend job if you have to design and build this piping.

I said "quite easy to do if you know how to cut, bend, and weld"

But yes I had never actually seen the way those pipes bend around the bumper supports, so it is a lil harder, and you would have to have some double bends in there.

Still could be done.

Totally agree.

Clearing 2001 tailights can be done too, but sometimes it's a bit more work than you think, right?

Lol, very true.

It can be done, and it will hopefully now that we can get a tool to mold the acrylic in the shape of the reverse lights.

Good luck with that. I'd rather bend pipe than plastic.

The piping wouldnt be the hard part, the brackets, etc would more of a task then the piping.

Yes, but the best would be if you were to just copy the bracket from an existing RMM kit. A good machine shop could do it easily.

umm very interesting. i wonder what kind of interest is on the forum as a whole for the kit. for sure not a whole lot of people (percentage wise) would be on the FI on their gs4, but would be nice to see who's the few

maybe it will just end up being the already exisitng few kits floating around
