Yes, its iridium. Gill, I can't recall if you were doing a supercharger or turbo on your GS; if you are not, you would not want to use these plugs.

My total was $154.35 including $32.75 for overnight shipping (I bought 16 of them to have a set on hand if I need them again. Sounds a lot cheaper than your guy

Edit - ps pump replaced and also new timing belt, SC belt.

Yes what happends is the NA plug gets a lot warmer from FI so the extra heat of the plug can cause the pre-ignition of the fuel, which is pretty bad because it puts a downward force on your pistons, rods, crank when it is not supposed to.

Too cold of a plug is bad too. Say on an na car, something that rev's pretty high can get away with it tho (ie: intergra type R).

Roteries run really cold plugs.

Heat range 7's are fine for most FI cars.

Nope. Custom CNC crank pulley. I'll post pics as soon as I can get them up.

see

id like to modify the RMM setup and have it run off the crank as well

i was never really fond of the RMM setup running off the PS pump

have you encountered any problems with the srt setup

from all your old posts it just seemed like power was the intial problem

and that was taken care of (420rwhp)

did you have your trans built or just a VB uprgrade

thanks MrJ

I think taking it off the PS pump is a good idea. I've been quite happy with the power output. The trans had two VB upgrades and neither really solved the problem. It won't shift worth a darn at full throttle. The only place I'm comfortable with tweaking the trans at this point is PFS. However I'm currently too cheap to send the trans out for the work (Read as Marauder and kids taking $$$ priority). I will be switching to AMSOIL ATF fluid in a couple of weeks though when I change the Air filter, rear diff fluid, brake fluid and trans fluid. Perhaps that will help!?

As for any other problems, I would change the setup to use a ribbed belt given the resources. Just so much less to worry about.

No problem johnny!

I think there are one or two other pics in previous posts that might give you an idea of what the full system looked like but in any case If the pics aren't a rush I can post a decent collection in a week or so. Otherwise I can see what I can rustle together tomorrow.
