Borla is slightly quieter than the L-tuned exhaust.
If you are worried about it being too loud, just get exhaust tips. Exhaust will only give you 1-2hp max on a GS and if you want it because you like the look, just get some quality chrome tips and have them welded on. Stock quiet, but still cool looking. AND much cheaper

I wish i knew myself maybe you could ask someone to help you out, i wonder why i never had a problem getting my emails, let me know what happens, thanks. By the way does the exhaust add some power to the car or not really i'm getting mixed feelings on it, let me know.........

Mr. Big, I have a stock exhaust, and eventually I want to change it. I live in NYC, and I have seen and heard Borla exhausts on Gs400's. They sound real sweet. It has a nice gurgly v8 sound on take off similar to the c5 corvette, but not to intrusive. I want to get that exhaust for myself. I feel you when you said you don't want anything too loud. Same here. I am going to get the Borlas for my car this summer. Go for it

You should try a yahoo search on Boarla soundclips... I went on a site a few years back, some Toyota Supra site, and they had a Gs400 sound/videoclip with Borlas, dont remember the name of the site, but when I do, I will let you know and send the link

OK, there's no way you can tell "loud" from a soundclip. Loud implies volume. Tone-wise, Ithought the l-tuned was deeper, more mellow sounding than the Borla, which sounded slightly tinny (maybe was the SRT intake?).
