Seafoam experts, check in here.
OK, i am going to compile a seafom thread with all the PROPER info (since it is spread out in a million threads). There are several ways to use seafoam, i actually used it in my gas, most of you prefer the intake, some go for the oil.
Anyone that has used it please sign in here with setp by step instructions, helpful hints, do's and DO NOT's. I'd like to hear from oil, gas, and intake guy's if possible.
We'll be using this thread in the future. Thanks

i have use seafoam for my sc400. the way i did it was that i put 1/3 of it in the oil (to the block), 1/3 in the gas tank, and 1/3 to the fuel injectors. that way you'll get a thorough clean through out the whole system. for me to clean the fuel injectors i used a compressed air fuel injection cleaning pump. i drove the car around the block a couple times so that it would clean everything. the most important thing about using seafoam is that you will have to do a oil change after you drive the car around.

I usually take the plugs out,
spray Mopar combustion chamber cleaner (think aerosol seafoam that foams) in each plug hole till it foams out and let sit overnight,
cover the plug holes (not by putting anything in them directly) and spin the engine over to make sure the stuff is drained from the cylinders,
put plugs back,
start the car and burn the rest out,
pour a can of seafoam into the intake as it runs (PCV or preferrably TB if the car will run with no intake pipe),
run until the exhaust is clear,
change or clean plugs,
change oil,
and that's it.
I stick to fuel injection cleaner for fuel treatment and kerosene/crankcase cleaner for oil treatment..

seafoam
hey guys
tofay i used seafoam to clean inside the engine out. It works great , i can tell the differance in the cars power.
I put some in the crankcase or oil put some in the gas and i also put some throught the brake line.
I was think that i will have to change the oil, and the fuel filter do you guys think that this would be a good idea
