What is the advantage of a cat back exhaust system?
What is the advantage of a catback system vs non catback? It can't be too much HP at all I wouldn't think and if you had a catback system could you push the muffler back toward the rear of the car so the tips stick out more?>

From 2000-2300k rpm... sweet spot for droning. Because I don't have the tiptronic tranny system on my gs3, the only thing I can do when coming out of a stop during city driving is accelerate aggressively or drive really slow to get me out of 3rd and 4th gear where the car drones like crazy. It's frustrating when the car takes forever to shift out of those gears, but I can't accelerate because there's a cop or slow traffic ahead of me. JIC is definitely NOT an exhaust system for those that want a subtle mellow sound if you own a gs300. I have yet to hear the system from outside the car, or on a v8.
