Question Help, turbo project needs new shop!

Who is the best shop (preferably most experienced) to finish up a 98 GS400 turbo?

Original shop working on project let car sit doing basiclaly nothing to it for 1 year. Want to see car finished before the year 2010.

Needs:
Turbo or turbo's.
Turbo manifold

Here's whats been done so far:
Roll cage
3" Exaust
Stock block (bored, balanced...)
stock rearend
JE 2618 custom pistons 8.2:1
pauter rods
built tranmission
Have avc-r, revspeed meter, bunch of other meters,
aem plug and play pems
46mm wastegate
24x12x3 intercooler
72lb/hr injectors

REally would love to have it finished by the best shop around. If money were no object, who would you pick?

You wont get too much response because AS far as turboed GS400's there are very few people that have had this done. You and I are sort of pioneers in this venue. There have been a few guys that had TT setups done by SRT up in MD but they are extremely pricey take quite a bit of time. Other than the SRT setups, you and I are the only ones I know of that have gone down this road with a 400 .

If you wanna do it in California, XS Engineering is the only place that I would recommend. They have done both GS and SC 4's and the tuner is a very good friend of mine.

How much did you bore the engine block? Lexus does not allow any boring as the iron sleeves are only 2mm thick. It the block was bored more than 10 thousanths you may have a problem.

I have to call the ex tuner to see. He may not have ended up boring the block at all. The guy lied about so many things it's not even funny.

They bored the block .10 over.
The intercooler is just the core. No ends.

I highly recommend XS-Engineering as well. They have 2 of the best tuners in So. Calif. (Eric & Koji) especially if you purchase the Apexi Power FC standalone. They built my Evo VIII.... and I couldn't be happier.

They are on the pricey side.... but you get what you pay for.
