Default Any difference between a 98 and 99 1UZ

I have an opportunity to purchase a 99 1uz and I was wondering if it would fit in my 98 car with out any issues. I seem to remember reading something about drive by wire or something. I thing this stuff was in later models but I am not sure. Can anyone help me out?

98 99 are the same for GS4, 300HP,

For sc4 and LS4, they are 290 HP!
