3UZFE Forged Pistons
I just picked up a 3UZFE short block for $50.00 and i am thinking about getting some custom forged pistons for it. What do u guys think? I am thinking about putting a 3UZFE bottom with 1UZFE heads in a SC400 and run twin turbo on it.

Actually i am very disappointed with the 3UZ internals. Espcially the rods. Very weak. I did an article on it last night and i was very surprise. www.lextreme.com/rods.html

Everytime an engine is broken the dealer usually replay a brand new one. The old engine usually be trash and the scrap metal guy would come by and pick them up and sell them as alunimum. I know a guy goes around 10-20 toyota and lexus dealers and pick them up. Some time he would sell it as aluminum and if good stuff, he will call me...
