Default Question for guys with 3.76 AND PI TC

Apologies if this has been discussed already......

I'm getting the 3.76 installed and have the PI TC already.

Did any of you guys have the stall speed adjusted on the TC when you had the 3.76 installed?

Yes the Torsen 3.76 LSD.....

I'm asking because I know that Precision Industries offers a free stall speed adjustment within the first 2 years of purchase because of the new mods that people do to their cars.

I don't think you need to adjust your stall speed unless you are going FI, search this topic as I believe Dave was hitting the rev limiter after installing his supercharger, maybe he can weigh in.

I've not heard of anyone adjusting the Precision Industries Torque Converter stall speed (from the normal 2800 upgrade on GS400) when having the 3.76 diff installed. I didn't and have no complaints!

Indio is correct, I changed my stall speed (I bought a new one and sold the old one) when I put the SC on, but I have the TRD LSD which keeps the stock gearing.

There are a few folks that have had problems hitting the rev limiter with both the PI TC @ 2800 and RMM or Supra TT 3.76 LSD. Those that have either lived with it or took out the LSD.

There are more people that have both that have no issues with banging on the rev limiter than those that have. If I were going that route, I'd put both in and hope for the best. Lowering the stall speed might help if you do have the problem (it did for my car under different circumstances).

thanks for the feedback.......its appreciated.

I also sent an email to Jack at PI so it will be interesting to hear his thoughts. I'm hoping that my 20X9.5 wheel in back is heavy enough to give me traction.
