Default Instructions for 98-00 SRT ECU install?

Hello all. I realized today that I don't have the instructions for installation of the ECU for my SRT intake. does anyone have a copy they could send me or mayb can scan them to me for me to pass along to the buyer? Its a SRT intake and ECU for a 98-00 gs300.

Any help would be appreciated

Hey A,

I think I have a copy I got from SRT here at work. If I find it do you want me to fax it to you? The instructions were faxed to me from SRT so they arent the highest quality but they got the job done. I am pretty sure I still have them, unless the shop that installed them threw them away

im gonna give it a shot but i need to see if LMS has any ideas. then im going to weigh out the costs and see which is a better route. im not sure if srt sells the ecu alone but the safc from what read does the same thing besides the fact that ill have to tune it.

yea but safc would be a better choice so you can fine tune it for maximum hp gains with whatever mods you add in the future

true. i dont think im going to do any more mods other than this intake, its gonna be suspension from here on out. the safc is gonna run approx 250 bucks and i still have to add the cost of someone tuning it and maybe install it also. so if the srt ecu is less expensive, i may just do that mod and avoid the whole safc. then i dont have to deal with the issue of "where am i going to put the safc?".

hopefully LMS will have another idea.

Default SRT install

Can someone please e-mail me directions on how to install the SRT intake system for a 98 GS300. I am having problems with the wiring for the ECU. Where do the wires go to the engine? Thanks e-mail is samoidreed@yahoo.com

The wires don't go to the engine - they go to the ECU. I'm guessing you have very limited knowlege of wiring so at this point I suggest you have someone do it for you. Hacking up your ECU wiring is not a good thing to do if you are not experienced. It is a relatively simple install but unless you can solder I suggest not doing it yourself.

If you search you should find someone who has posted them. Unfortunately I only have the GS400 wiring available.

Jonny
