Question Bosch Platinum +4

Has anbydoy tried the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs on their GS? These are the spark plugs that have 4 electrodes on each of them. I don't know if the plug is all marketing hype of if it really does work as advertised, but I installed a set of these on my previous car (G20T) and they worked very well.

I checked out the Bosch web site and they do make these plugs for the GS3/GS4.

Thx...Doug

i don't remember where but they have done a test between the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs vs Denso Iridium plugs. Both lasted very very very long. Denso's performance is SLIGHTLY better. Denso Iridiums costs almost 2 times as much.

Your call.

I think the GS400s came with Denso Iridiums.

I've checked with local shop and he said spark plug won't do much with normal GS, unless you have like supercharger or turbo, something like that.

Okay, I just ordered the Torquemaster plugs that Bosch copied with the +4 design. Supposedly, these bad boys make a noticeable difference. Percy swears by them. I'll report back as soon as I install.

Thumbs up Got the Torquemasters installed

Okay, I got these badboys installed and here are my impressions with ten minutes behind the wheel.

Much smoother idle with or without a/c on. I love this.
Running from 0-100 I not only feel a difference but I swear the needle seems to sweep more aggressively upwards. I know that sounds strange but I wasn't looking for a reason to call this a success, rather, it just hit me that the needle was moving faster.
I had a 200 lbs + passenger with a full tank of fuel and I managed to get a slight chirp in second gear at least once during the ten minute run. And this was in 95 degree weather with high humidity.
I'll report more as time passes but IMO just the smoothed out idle made it worth the $125 plus I'll probably nab another mile to the gallon possibly. I will hit the strip and grab some slips in the next couple months to see if I'm not bull5hitting myself. The power gain seems very real to me.
Percy, thanks for the recommendation.

Oh yea, the only other mod I have is the SRT intake/ecu.
