I actually bought it from TLW.

My first run was 360rwhp, but am expecting a lot better once I get these couple of kinks worked out. Hope to be at 400 to the wheels.

No one currently manufactures a Supercharger kit for the GS400, you can try and find a used Rod millen kit in the classifieds but thats about it.

You can also do a custom turbo setup if you want. Those have been done as well.

Good luck and welcome aboard

Yea I think you meant the classifieds section of this forum where you may find a RMM supercharger kit for sale every now and then. RMM stands for rod millen motorsports in case you were unaware

Unfortunately, I do not believe there are any RMM SC's on the market right now.

Just my 2 cents worth, but you may want to call Luxury Motorsports (Shamless plug - www.luxurymotorsports.com )in Alhambra and ask for Steve. I was talking to Steve about doing one on my GS400, also you may also want to PM JP430, he has one on his GS430 and I have personally seen the very clean instal. I am looking at doing mine in the next couple of months.

My goal is to have 400 RWHP too.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

Just my 2 cents.

AmCo,

To tell you the truth, I am a beginner with all of this FI stuff so I would call Steve to discuss with him your options. Although, I have heard that HP = $$$$ so I would think it all depends on how ballistic you are wanting to go. I have heard that you may want to lower the compression with a different head gasket and some other stuff but I would leave that stuff to the mechanics....I am still learning.

If you find out more info, please post.

Hi AmCo -

Best of luck on the supercharger hunt. I got the fever after joining ClubLexus, and didn't stop until I found a RMM kit. I recently found one, and I think I was pretty lucky to only spend about 3 weeks to get it.

As some others have mentioned, Steve at Luxury Motor Works is a good place to start - he was very helpful with info to a new guy to forced induction like me. He was good about emails, etc, and knows what he's talking about. When I talked to him last, he seemed to think that with a few mods, his kit for the GS430 might be an option for my '99 GS400. It might be worth a try.

Also, based on where you're located, you might want to contact Jason at JP Importz (www.jpimportz.org). His username on this forum is JPI. Jason is about to begin the installation of my kit here in the Dallas area, and is a wealth of info. You can find his posts in a number of areas on ClubLexus.

Best of luck.

Rusty
