Turbo/Supercharge 3'rd GS anytime?
Hey I'm new to this site currently just got a GS 430 fully load. Also know that the new GS has only been out for ALMOST a year. But was wondering would anyone have a good prediction when someone would make one or can you use a supercharge from a LS 430 or somthing. I got a quote on a custom twin turbo for 15k-20k easy
Hope hearing from everone at clublexus ^^

Custom tubo will usually run you pretty high up there in the price range because it is a one-off thing, not mass produced. I think the main thing holding back the kits for the 3GS and all is the engine management. I mean, look at the IS300. It has been out for about 5 years now and most tuners putting in turbo have just worked the kinks and bugs out. From what I have gathered, the Toyota ecu's arent the friendliest thing to hack. As for the actual piping and manifolds, I bet the old ones will fit on the new cars without too much extra work. The main problem is the engine management.

Unless it will be different this time around, the availability of FI for the 2GS was not that abundant. If this is any indication, it will be awhile. Custom is probably your only option now and in the near future.

Hey Khank,
Don't know the answer to your question but you can check out at least one supercharged 2nd gen GS (mine) and a turbo 1st Gen GS among other FI Lexus at the meet in Charlotte in February.
