Default GS400 Engine MOD's?

for those of you who have GS4's, what engine mod's have you done? and for each mod, can you tell a difference or not?

torque converter, intakes, exhausts, grounding kits, voltage stabilizers, new batteries... anything that would affect performance, no matter how small or large the mod.

i'm planning on new battery, intake, ecu, exhaust and stabilizer and grounding kit

but i'd like to know what else would make my GS have a little more bite

Not exactly engine - but TC, LSD, VB upgrade will all make a big difference.

tc, lsd, and vb, those are real performance mods

exhaust and intake won't really really do you much

Does VB mean valve-body for the transmission? I wasn't sure what you and DX3 meant.

The valve body is part of your transmission and you have it upgraded for faster/firmer shifts. I think generally only people with FI do it.

I think the upgrade is around $400-500 but then there is installation plus down time when you send your VB in.

Shifts like a vette though

Did this VB upgrade fix your shifting issue?

Do you mean when I was hitting the limiter?? If so, then no it did not help.

I hvae just had my 3.76 LSD replaced with my stock differential so I am waiting to see if that helps or whether I will have to reduce my stall speed on my TC.

not really, even for NA cars it's going to help. rmmgs4's car is NA and has the vb, and damn does it shift fast!

How can you forget the JB Headers for a cool $600!?!?!?!

Probably money better spend there first than the VB, but, the LSD and TC obviously win hands down as the best mods so far.
