New short block
First, big shot out to lextreme for his help in this project. My main goal was to safley up the HP for my 2001 GS430. I lowered the compression to 9:1 with Ross forged pistons, went with the 1uz rods (much stronger), all new gaskets, and ARP studs. I plan to be pushing 10-12 lbs. of boost. I want to stay with stock ecu/injectors. I do not know right now what the max amount of boost I can go with the stock injectors. I am currently in the process of just braking the motor in. Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you guys

Now that is a PURDY sight.
Man, those small rods...I can't believe those just don't snap at the slightest things. Those things aren't even straight. I is like a toothpick with a big and small end. Yikes.

How many cc's are the stock injectors? What tuning tool are you using, how much boost are you running? Are the 400/430 injectors the same? thanks

Are you using the stock ecu for those 440's? How does it run? How many miles have you been using the 440's?

Good question!!! Do the 400 and 430 use the same size injectors....stock. If the 430 uses bigger injectors, maybe I can get a few more pounds...10lbs.......????

John,
You can look into some of mild injectors upgrade without killing your idle:
MKIII Supra 7MGE (early model) 295 cc/min (Yellow) Mod: Change plug or mod the injector grooves
or
MKIII Supra 7MGE (later model) 315 cc/min (Lime Green) Mod: Change plug or mod the injector grooves.
I think the 315 will support 9.5 to 10 psi.

So you replaced the entire engine block, pistons and rods? Couldn't you have just replaced the rods and pistons the weak link or does the entire lower end needs to be strenghtened??
Are you sticking w/the I-manage for your fuel management?
This should be a beast w/ the rebuild.
