Default LMS IS Intake: Polished or Black Powdercoat?

Well, I'll probably end up buying the LMS intake from L-TunedParts.

What do you guys think; should I go with the polished finish or the black crushed powdercoated finish?

First option.

i'd go with polished... makes the engine bay stand out so much more.

Hmmm that's a tough one,, I'd probably go for the black one, since it's not
like i'd be going all out with mods. So I'd rather have it look more stock under
the hood, but i'd have to see how the polished one looked in the car to really
make up my mind..

Hmm I wonder if it would be possible to order the flat black powdercoated intake without an LMS nameplate on it at all for an ultra OEM look?

Other then for advertising reasons, i think they're a serial number on it
as well.. But they can just put it on the other side, so it's facing the floor
Or we can just paint it black..

I like the sleeper / stock look, so I'd go for black.

You've got a Tungsten, so I'd go for the polished

Depends if you want BLING or Sleeper.

I personally love both. But for this car, I'd pick black.

If I was to be modding heavily and not put the engine covers back on, I'd go with polished.

i'd go with polished. the engine bay is so covered up with black plastic, any sliver of pop will help the bay out tremendously. the intake is pretty much covered up anyway.

Black........keeps it all on the down low. Besides, most of it will be covered by the plastic engine covers.

Hey, I just noticed that LMS posted a new dyno sheet...

edit: Nope, I should have looked closer (it was just reprinted on the 24th).

Another vote for black. Chrome is near impossible to keep clean under the hood

Plus it does give it that sleeper look
