I was thinking the same thing when i left that place.....I'll switch out the intake and go somewhere else, definitely

I switch out my intake every other year to do smog. Not a problem with my RMM stainless exhaust either.

I really don't think headers will be a problem so long as they don't know that they are not stock. With all the polished and painted engine parts I have, they don't have a problem, so I would think seeing a little bit of shiny header is just going to look like another detailed part of my engine.

As far as cats, you can always bolt on a bypass tube and replace it back after passing.

Whan all else fails, you gotta have connections.
