Yeah the slimmer canister does prevent scraping, plus they look sweet, they're still visible under the car but not all bulbous looking. Touring vs SMH has gotta be a matter of taste, for me the Touring won out because it looked cleaner, the tips are finished nicely whereas the SMH tips look sorta like they were just cut there and not finished, hard to explain really but the Touring looks more polished to me, not so obviously aftermarket. Another thing to consider is what kind of bumper you have, the Touring I know for sure looks great with the stock bumper while lots of aftermarket exhausts stick out too far with the stock bumper and then you gotta modify pipes or whatever.

i ahve a tanabe shm and i love it... but one thing tho is it is very quiet... oh well

Yeah, I really want the Medallion Touring. Saving money now.

Tanabe SHM is tempting though. LOL
