I'm currently looking at a 1993 GS300. every thing on the car looks good and clean but the motor's got 150k miles. What kinds of maintenance will it need? I know it's going to need a timing belt change. how much does an average timing belt job cost? I need to find out how much all the maintenance stuff will cost before i can decide if I can afford the car. With all the basic maintenance done how reliable are the GS300s?
Thanks in advance

With 150k, you will need to check alot of stuff. I advise you to bring the car to a reputable mechanic and let him check under the hood and put the car on a lift. GS's in general is a very reliable car but you never know what the previous owner(s) has done with the car.
