it's hard to find competent shops in CA? if that's the case, imagine how hard it is for me in colorado springs.. lol this place sucks for shops! good thing he's here, otherwise I'd be SOL for modding up my GS

i think doin' it at the same time MIGHT cut down on the cost, but it'll definately save time so they can just tackle that whole set-up at one time instead of seperately. for that custom job, if you want - i can ask my homeboy how much he'll do it for (he did his brother's GS3 custom piping) and if you can't find a better price out in CA, he can do it here and ship it out to you... let me know

haha, no it's not the midas touch lol

the only reason i haven't purchased the headers yet is because i'm in the process of rebuilding my front suspension, gettin' my bodykit painted, car detailed, i'm doing an entire fluid power flush and refill - lol so i'm just waiting on more funds so i can get the headers put on should be done in a month. my entire car should be 95% completed before the end of summer

The headers do not make the car louder under most conditions. A little under full throttle maybe but day-to-day driving loudness is not increased. The rest of the exhaust impacts the sound level but not the headers. The headers fit in the stock location and utilized the stock cats and exhaust if desired.

My car is quieter now, with headers and Carson Tuned exhaust. Than when all I had was an axle back (cans only) HKS set up.

JB, do you have your headers on yet? Just curious because of your reply above.

GSDreams, if you want a sound clip, send me your email address to my PM here and I will send you mine. I have the headers now to go with my HKS mufflers. (all other exhaust parts are stock)

I and everyone who has been my car have found it to be *slightly* louder, with a deeper tone as well. (about a dozen people)

Default Thanks again to JBrady

Just wanted to say Thanks again to JBrady for his persistence on the header project.

I finally had the headers installed last week at Dynamic in SoCal. Great service at a great price. Total labor charged was around 7 hours. Ted and Son are great Lexus Master Technicians.

I did not do a pre/post install dyno, but initial impressions are very positive and I can't believe I waited so long to have these installed. I would agree with other members who described the new feel as when you drive your car at night when its cold outside as opposed to the daytime. Now it just seems to accelerate like its cold outside all of the time. I haven't even driven the car at night yet but expect even better performance as it gets colder. I plan on going FI in the future, so I am very happy I went with this purchase.

Dynotune at XS to come very soon.

JBrady is the man!!!!!

Thanks goes out to Loren at S&S for a great design

Very glad that you are enjoying the headers.

Definitely looking forward to your upcoming reports.

As for me... I'm just happy to help the team!
