Default RMM supercharger - do u need fuel mgmt for 7-8psi?

Guys,

Was just wondering if you think you could run the 2.87 pulley with stock injectors and stock fuel pump and not have to worry about fuel management? This is for the RMM supercharger.

Or do you think the 3.12 is your maximum for all stock?

Thanks,
Jonny

you're still gonna need fuel management because you're gonna run rich. even though rod millen says you don't really need it, they recommend it. i spoke to them recently because i was gonna run the basic pulley. they told me no matter what, you had to run the upgraded injectors and tune to avoid rough idle.

yes. i had the idea that if i just run the 3.33 pulley, i don't need to use the 310 injectors and change the injector clips but rmm said no. you might run out of fuel up top when boosting. if you don't tune with some type of fuel management, you're gonna run rich.

So I could run 310's with a 3.12 pulley, stock fuel pump and an SAFC2 without any problems?

yep. you should be fine. jmecbr900's safc settings were still dialed down, but it depends on your setup. other rmm owners running a similar setup (310's with 3.12 pulley) have similar results. you still have your wideband right? you're probably going to have to dial a little fuel back.
