does it really bounce that much . . . this is the first time i have heard of the exhaust shaking, etc.

Ya I heard that before... but even then its really loose for mine... I will ask about it during the 5K service but was just curious if the Tanabe uses different mounting points to better secure the exhaust than the wobbly rubber ones we have now.

Ya I think so... follow a IS around on the freeway and you'll see it. Looks like its about to fall off.
