Default intake for RHD cars

I'm in the UK with a RHD GS300. I've got the same 2JZ-GE engine as every other 300.

However, I wanted to get an intake kit for my car. Might even get one from the US since I'm over there in JUne.

Some folks have warned me that intake kits sold in the US won't fit my UK car, as the kit has been designed for LHD models. DOes this make any sense?

I was thinking of the SRT intake, but not sure about whether the ECU side of things is compatible with my UK car.

The ECU wiring shouldn't be any different. Doesn't matter which side drive the car is from - it still has the same wiring. I am sure you could verify through a manual if they are color coded the same.

As for the actual intake - I have been trying to think this through in my head as to whether it would work Might have to turn it upside down or something~~

Trust/Greddy has an intake for the GS300/JZS160 NA, and should fit the 98 - 00 GS300.

It was designed for the RHD JDM version, so it should fit.

Ok, here are some pics of the engine bay. Ok, the battery is on the other side and so will the steering column, but apart from that the engine is the same as LHD 300s.? The intake and cold air box would go in exactly the same position that you guys do on your cars?

The ecu packaged w/ the SRT intake will not work properly with the euro set up (tuning-wise). This was specifically attempted about 4 years ago.

HKG300 seems to have some relavant options for you.
