O.K., back again. Car still doesn't run I'm in the process of ordering yet another ecu. This time I have the part number for the correct one!! I'll post up when I get further.
BTW, the 3rd ecu I was working with was indeed a EDM VVTi ecu and has an immobilizer. Any ecu with an immobilizer must have the key and transponder from the original car in order for it to function. Lexus can re-flash the ecu for the other key, but it will be very difficult to get them to do it. It can only be done by dealers and both registrations for both cars have to be accounted for. In other words....good luck on that.

Wow, so many GS popping up with FI nowadays! I remember when mine was the only 2nd generation GS with a 2JZ GTE VVT-i on the East Coast...way back in 2003. It's been almost a year since I posted on this forum. I have been staying away for fear of catching the Lexus bug again. Driving a FI Lexus can be very addictive and I used to do some foolish things with mine. I have a small child now, I can not afford to be foolish anymore. Knowing myself, I know if I get behind the wheel of a fast car, I'd probably start acting foolish again. My G55 AMG truck is no slouch with a supercharged V8 and 0-60 times of 5.5 seconds but it's nowhere near as fast as my GS used to be. So I am not really tempted to push it. Plus, it's shaped like a box with the worst aerodynamics I have ever seen! However, I can honestly say it's a women magnet...lol.
Congrats on your car BurgandyGS and props to Manic. He's a really great guy always ready to help. He knew my car when I had it and I even got him to meet with the guy who did my wiring.
Seeing so many new FI GS made me reconsider selling my set up. I am almost tempted to build another one. It was supposed to be sold to one of the members here in CL but he had some difficulties and could not go through with the deal. I am really debating if I should build another GS or repost the setup for sale. The thing is my wife already has a CLS55 which I am allowed to borrow every once in a while. Although it doesn't feel as fast as my old Lexus, its 0 to 60 times is still impressive at 4.7 seconds. I remain confident that my old GS would smoke it any day. I was never able to get a 0 to 60 on the GS but I doubt it was better than that of the CLS55 since the GS was always fighting to get traction in spite of my big 20" rims and wide 265x40 rear tires.
You guys at CL are the greatest bunch! I have had the pleasure to meet BlueLex and I will never get tired of saying how much of a class act he is. I will be looking forward to meeting more of you in the future as I am seriously thinking about building a new GS. If I don't, I hope that you guys won't mind having a Benz at one of your meets...lol

Thanks bro, I also squeeze it a little too much. It is fun as hell. Amazing how fast a sedan can be. I am still fine tuning the a/f ratio. I am hitting 21 lbs of boost. It is sick. I have to thank manic and rudy from manic tech racing for everything. I probably wouldn't of done it if I didn't have their help. And, definitely come hang out, with a benz or whatever. Once a Lexus owner/lover, always one. We need some more meets down south.....

Got it on the dyno today!! Thanks to Rudy. He has helped me a lot. We only had a couple of hours to tune cause my wife is having a baby tomorrow. We tuned all cells up to 1 lb. The car is so responsive, like stock. Damn I love that dyno. I will post some numbers by next week. Hopefully it will be around 500-550 hp to the wheels.

Hey Burg...glad to hear everything is working out.
Can't wait to see the dyno sheet...
BadAssGS3T - Adrian (bluelex) has always been helpful and eventhough I haven't met him in person he appears to be a great guy
Psss...... hook up the GS again, you know you want to ...LOL

I got the JDM 2JZ-GT ecu today, plugged 'er in, and it fired right up! Idle was smooth. Did it 5 times and started every time! My man DEX was so stoked! Over the next couple weeks, I'll work out all those dash lights and the tacho.
Big thanks for everyone who helped. I'll update as events occur.
