in regards to the E shift, i made a thread on how to make it work on a aristo trans in a non eshift car. doing it to a e shift car should be literally a 5 min wiring change under the hood depending on the year.

Ok so i've read all 27 pages of this thread and maybe i left a few posts.

I want to ask. If i do the swap, what do i have to do to keep the stock traction control, ABS to work? I want to keep the stock 5spd tranny as well. I was told i can use the stock aristo ECU and run AEM EMS or Greddy E-Manage to keep the 5spd in there. But i also want to keep the traction control and ABS that comes with my 05 GS300.

Keep your GS ecu, that will run everything you need. Run a parallel stand alone with a patch harness from boomslang. That way your GS functions like stock with the 5 speed and all the other electronics will work as well.

The only way to keep traction control working is to use a piggyback. Standalone will make the traction control non functional. I have done many cars up successfully with piggybacks and they run great. They use the A650E transmission, have traction control, and the has no check engine light so it passes OBD2 emissions testing as well.

Ok guys been reading this thread immensely, here's the deal... I am the proud owner of a jzs161( currently stationed in Japan) and I have an 03 GS430 back home, with that being said I will be pulling the 2jz engine tranny with driveshaft. What else would you guys suggest I pull just for the swap, I really don't wanna pull parts if they aren't really needed you know. As far as ecu I plan to pull everything associated with it any other items to pull? Thanks in advance

That makes more sense. In that case, throw some other rare parts in the container while your at it ;-)

Check and see if you have the factory LSD option. Maybe a lucky one. Pull the front rotors and calipers I think they are the big brakes also. And the traction control ecu that's under the drivers side dash.

Hi guys. Great info on this thread. I am just about finished my swap but I have a problem. When I turn on the ignition the radiator fans come on and stay on until I shut car off. Not throwing up any fault codes tho.
Also the dual climate control seems to be faulty. When I put both sides on 32degrees, only one side get hot, other side stays cold.
