That left exhaust pipe would definitely bug me with it's off center look. Hopefully you can adjust it somehow and post up pictures again. Also the exhaust looks a bit better than I thought I would with those canisters. Lets see some video/sound clips.
Do you have an intake as well or is this just exhaust?

looks nice and I bet it sounds good. think im glad I went with the Tanabe after the fitment issues you had. its not too bad but I wouldn't be able to stand that drivers side pipe cocked like it is.

Going to try and get decent sound clips somehow. The sound inside the car will be different than if you are following the car and hear it from that vantage point. Will have to coordinate with other members to get this done.
Thanks for the compliments everyone

How much was this exhaust again? How much did it weigh compared to the stock exhaust? How big is the piping? Any check engine lights?

Unfortunately I did not feel the need to weigh them. I will say the heaviest part of the LMS exhaust is the mid section with the resonators. The front H pipe is definately lighter than stock due to the missing cats. The mufflers are also much lighter than stock. This was one of the first things I noticed when it came in the mail. The stock mufflers are welded together to form a Y shape. And is heavy and was awkward to handle by myself. The group buy was $1049.00. I think the piping is 2 and a quarter. No check engine lights, and not expecting any.

I like it. I personally think that tanabe made the look out of the rear end a lot better. But the again, you know what opinions are like....I love your car though...KUDOS!!!!

Like everyone said, very nice writeup.
I noticee that you mentioned that it was a CATBACK exhaust. Everything I have read here says that the cats do not have flanges to bolt to, only the resonators do. Can anyone tell me how many cats the car has and where are they located? I would really like to free up the exhaust, but I certainly don't want to fail smog...

I believe our cars have 2 sets of cats, "the pre-cats and the main cats"..
In the past I only thought "turbo-charged" engines had an extra set, but oh well.
The Lms system removes the main cats.. Your car will most likely NOT pass
any emissions inspection...

A lot of newer cars have multiple catalyzers since emissions standards are much stricter today compared to even just 5 years ago. Here in Cali, having modified emissions equipment will land you with a huge huge fine, or a visit to the state ref at the very least.
A lot of the CHP and local PD's are now trained on vehicle modifications and what to look for
