As long as you spray the cleaner in gently, you'll be fine. it'll only damage the MAF if you spray the cleaner full blast into the 2 thin wire.

The idle is a bit higher / smoother now. I was getting some roughness w/o AC on.

Being a Lexus tech for several years I have seen some bad TB's. Most are the ones with 87 fuel and low miles (grandma drove). The MAF sensor is in the duct to the TB no the TB itself. I have not had a ny trouble yet spraying dirrectly into the TB, it also helps to clean down into the intake manifold, just have to remoeber the car wiil start rich from it being puddled in there. May have to feather the throttle a lil bit. Then a good run on the road to burn it all out. There are places that clean the intake and cylinders also, we do and engine fog here.
The 300's should clean the TB and intake better when the plugs are changed, since you have it off.

Hey Brian. I noticed you posted up some other pictures about this in a different thread. Is there any chance you might write up a DIY for us non-mechanical types? Or, is it just that easy to get to the TB that no DIY instructions are necessary?
