Well the lights did go off after a while. I haven't reset the ECU yet. I think I need to because now my car idles at 1000+ when i start and stays there for a a little. Ill reset it tonight and post the results tomorrow. Oh yeah and i think this site is Tony-the-TIger-esque GREEEAAAAAAAAT!

The CEL may pop on due to the O2 readings. The TB cleaner has a lot of alcohol which plays havoc on sensors for sec. Once the CEL pops on, resetting the ECU or driving for a little while should cure that issue.

If the ECU is reset and the light pops back up, you may want to pull the codes.

I guess when I did the cleaning on mine, I went a bit more hardcore. I took apart the whole throttle body and the entire intake manifold off the car. Cleaned every bit and piece by hand lol.

I had a bunch of oil all over the inside of the inake manifold because I didn't have an oil catch tank(recommend when you boost) and the motor blew out a bunch of oil from the PCV valve and sucked it into the intake. I have the catch tank now so the intake manifold stays squeaky clean.

Cleaned the Throttle body and MAF. Needed to go to the store to get an extension to remove the black box but after it was all done - there is a HUGE difference and this is well worth the $11 i spent on the two cleaners. Feels like theres more Torque. Smoother gear shifting. Faster pedal response. Will report back once I put some miles on to see if I get any better on the gas efficiency.

Dj, throttle body made a big difference for me. You can always clean it..its very easy to do. Takes maybe 20 minutes and $5 for a can of cleaner. Worth doing either way and if it helps solve the problem you are having even better.
