Default Short Ram Intake

Hi,

Can anyone help me out? I had put in a short ram intake about 2 weeks ago, everything was fine and now my engine light is on. Is there a way to fix it so the engine light would go away?

Thanks!

probably need to get the code read...
sometimes some of your local auto parts stores will read if for free.

btw - some of the typical problems; need to clean dirty maf sensor, disconnected hoses, etc.
good luck..!

I had my engine scanned. The problems were Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction and Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Range/Performance. Was the Intake got anything to do with these problems.

The Injen Gen 1 and Gen 2 are infamous for throwing the CEL. If you have the Gen 3, I have heard that the CEL can be remedied by adding a heat shield. I have not attempted this myself as I have the SRT going into mine, but I have seen this info on other forums. I hope this helps you some and Good Luck !
