Default whistle from K&N FIPK

intake is about 2 months old. i oiled it about a month ago but a lot if the red oil dripped on to the car. iono if i added too much oil of what. (the weather was really really hot during this time too. right now its cooled off) but now i have a whistle coming from the intake that i didnt notice before. do you guys think i need to re-oil it? or is it normal? or something is wrong?

The whistling is the air being sucked into the intake. Should be normal
