Default Turbo for GS300

Could this turbo be used on my 98 GS300? It says it is good for a Supra. I know they have the same engines. Let me know what you guys think.

I think it will but you'll need the piping and manifold and everything else........... You don't just drop a turbine in the engine hoping it'll blow

Default ...nah

GlobeCLK has a point there.

That turbo is not a T04E... it seems like a hybrid of some sort. The turbine exhaust port is split housing at .84 A/R which might take more to spool up (however, good if there is a 3200rpm stall converter). I'd opt for a smaller .64 A/R. The compressor inlet is small... a new turbine housing is the solution. Also the inlet can use a velocity stack-type inlet. I can't deny at 18psi the turbo can yeild 500rwhp on a "prepped" 2JZGE bottom end. Something like this:

consult the forced induction specialists nearest you. If you're in Florida, go to Toyomoto. If you're in SoCal, try XS or Area 51.

You'll need an entire kit to have a turbine to even run. No bolt-on kits now, just in-house custom work. So I think if you want turbo, it's not what turbine you get now but instead look into a way to get a turbo setup running at least, which means probably a smaller turbo at low boost, just to make sure everything runs well at first.

I'd say $15,000 to do everything right. BTW, that is an HKS turbo modified by Troy at XS Engineering. Oh yeah... it comes with an exploding grenade.
