Caymandive's dynos are in the low 260's. There are a couple on my.is that are 260+ also.

Ramon's dyno with any of the three intakes (joez, fujita, stock) was around 260 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=231191&page=5

I don't recall seeing one in the 250's.

However, every car is different as are the dynos. It's hard to compare dyno figures unless you're testing them on the same one, same day, same conditions.

350 compression ratio is 11.8:1. That's EXTREMELY high for FI. I wouldn't try to get any more out of an SC or TT without bumping that down considerably. 8.5 ish would be ideal.

They used my 350 as the prototype to make that kit. I went from 277 at the wheels to 314 with the kit. It is definitely a noticeable difference. My supercharger is not working right now though. I've taken it to a tuner and it is making 0 boost, so they'll be removing it this coming Thursday and sending it back to Procharger (ATI) and having them replace it under warranty. The tuner people seem to think that it has spun a bearing or something internal on the supercharger. You guys that want to see pics can do a search and there are a few pictures of mine on this site somewhere.

If I'm not mistaken, atmosphere, gear, rpm, and type of fuel used, all can make a significant difference on dynos.

Just my 2 cents.

as long as rt350's car was dynoed on the same dyno machine with more or less the same conditions..

thats 43whp inchrease which is not bad at all.

i'd like to see the before dyno so i can see how much power was added over stock throughout the whole RPM range... not just peak gains.

So, you are getting like 50+ horses with this SC!!

I heard IS250 does around 160-170....
I can add some helpful technical info to this...

I've had a few IS350's and IS250's independently dyno'd for R&D purposes in the past months..

They were Dyno'd in 4th gear and on a Dyno Jet system.

Here's what the independent test results showed us:

DYNO Jet Graphs were all SAE Corrected

IS 350 Black
6 Speed Auto - 4,959 miles

Base Run
Max Power 265.8 & Max Torque 241.7

Measurement of percentage of Factory Rated Base HP (306) to Dyno Tested Base RWHP (265) was an approx. 14% loss to the wheels.

***************************************

IS 250 White
6speed Manual - 4,401 miles

Base Run
Max Power 173.3 & Max Torque 162.5

Measurement of percentage of Factory Rated Base HP (204) to Dyno tested Base RWHP (173) was an approx. 15% loss to the wheels.

Any IS thats Dyno'd on a Dyno Jet system in 4th gear should be getting just about the same number +/- with in a few hp's..
There are a few Dyno's from Dyno Jet tests that have these same approx. results.

And yes many variables will change dyno results for different states, different cars, different Dyno systems, different way the car is strapped down, etc, etc...
I can keep going all day with different variables..

+/- 8-10 hp, still not worth it...your not going to have one dyno get 300 and the other get 340... and all IS350's are the same, all dynos work the same, its all about how its run, you might get great run one time and get like 320 hp but that is a "results not typical" dyno, what he ran is about what your gunna get...

Looks like rt got 43 ponies and ro ro got 37. So it's probably somewhat safe to say that we're looking at a ~40 whp bump.

The peak numbers are interesting but the area under the curve is more telling.
