Yes.. without reading the rest of the posts, as I'm sure that there was some debate going on, I must tell you - I am very jealous (saying this cautiously). Where in California are you? I'm in San Diego... let's go to the track, film our cars, and when yours pulls hard on mine, you'll have more believers. It'll be fun nonetheless.

I would really like to know what the dyno'ed HP / dollar is for this upgrade. It sounds like it is less than 1 HP per $200, which absolutely sucks considering the other NA mods are way more rewarding.

Wha! Wha! Wha! Quit your whining.....it costs what it costs.....who cares. If you want NA mods because you can't afford the big HP stuff, go with those. This is for the big boys, not us pee-on's.

This is Great! I'm really excited to hear that Forced Induction has finally made it for the IS350. People out there that are complaining about hp per $$ have to understand this is one of the 1st FI kits for this car. Even considering this is a pioneering project for the 2IS, I'm excited with the power gain and I'm sure there is even more power to be tapped in the future. Thicker head gaskets, lower compression pistons and upping the boost. Personally I'll be holding off on doing any major mods like this for a while until I have the car paid off, but this is great news for us all. PROPS to LMS for doing this!

I agree that this is a big step in terms of mods for the 2IS. While it may not be a great value considering the power gains and cost, it is a step forward nevertheless. That said, I am still looking very forward to taking a ride in Ryan's boosted IS. So when is a convenient day and time for you Ryan?

If i presume to be correct you are only pushing 4-5PSI in to the motor right so then 40-50 RWHP isn't a bad gain and later when you the next logical up grade and lower the compression you can add more PSI. But until then have fun and remember to drive it like you stole it . Oh one more thing is the an LMS intake I see under the hood... shame on you

uh, read the #'s on the dyno sheet and do some simple math, 293 - 265 = 28...

i don't mind posting the dyno's up but it's just gona be like what JoeZ said in his result before doing the whole intake shabam, i've showed it to a few .netters already; done @ Ingen, 20+ runs in 2 weeks, a/c off is 265whp, a/c on is 245whp, they did it in the morning, afternoon, early night time; +/- 1~2whp difference in the avg; car was almost new had less than 700 miles on it.

anyways, that #'s nothing special, any normal 350 can make that to the ground easily.

before i find a scanner to scan this, here's some info of one of the dyno copies that i found in the mess on my table with the lower~mid #'s compare to other runs:

Run#4 Baseliine 4th Gear - Run Conditions: 65.45F, 29.08 in-Hg, SAE:1.01

Max Power = 264.29 Max Torque = 231.63

Date: 4/5/2006 10:31:48 AM

CF: SAE Smoothing: 5

The math isn't so simple when you're quoting basline numbers from your vehicle and supercharged dyno results from rt350's car. Ryan's car has a SIGNIFICANTLY lower baseline than yours does (probably due to the bigger and heavier wheels)

So its around 50rwhp gain.. for 6,5K?? im guessin...
I think i rather buy the IS500 when it comes out..
Isnt the 350 and 500 difference in price gonna be about dat much?
400+hp for... about 7K more.. I think dat might be the better way to go..

Oh yea.. and.. i dont know.. but LMS has been kinda dissapointing..
with lots of dyno sheets about LMS intake actually losin hp..
and exhaust being so... ugly.. and loud.. no cats.. etc..
IMO i cant trust the S/C kit to perform well either..
