0-60mph in ?sec? with Tanabe exhaust
I am wondering if anyone did measure how long it takes for IS 350 go from 0-60mph with Tanabe exhaust and stock everything else (may be with aftermarket drop in filter but not with cone filter) and only with driver in the car without extra weight in cabin or trunk. I just got Tanabe installed and wonder how's the 0-60mph performance. I don't really care about the power gain but I really care how much faster compare to the stock.

I highly doubt you will get an accurate time with a hand held stopwatch .
You would need a Vbox from racelogic or something similar. There have been other posts where someone used a radar like device with gps, that can give you pretty accurate 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

COMPARISON M3 vs. IS350
"I don't really care about the power gain but I really care how much faster compare to the stock"
Apples and oranges, but just for ****s and giggles:
BMW M3
Weight: 3394 lbs
Horsepower: 333
Torque: 262
0-60: 4.8 seconds
www.bmwusa.com
IS350
Weight: 3527
Horsepower: 306
Torque: 277
0-60: 5.3
www.lexus.com
How much power does exhaust add? 5 to 10 tops? Probably shave 0.1 or 0.2 max.
Just my two cents.

you put on an exhaust an notice changes in your 0-60? i say hardly. probably other factors like wind or traction would already make more of a difference in timing..
plus, every car is different, you would need to time your car before and after to know what you are gaining, if anything at all
