A different type of HKS exhaust will be released after the HKS one you see in the Lexus catalogs.

Even if all things are equal with quality and appearence, just the simple fact that it's HKS is something. Look at the people with the wheels... But the ones with the Volks symbolizes "expensive", and "rare".

If you got the cash, go for the more expensive one... Bling it up a little, only because you can.

I've never thought of HKS as a "premium" brand. Their S2000 exhaust was just middle teir.

the HKS exhaust was cancled months ago. it will not be made through Lexus, however HKS might offer one independently. TRD will not be making one either.

Sorry for the bad news...
Not necessarily. I talked to my lexus dealership recently and they offered to put one on for me if I wanted one. SLightly confused I brought up the fact that mnay people have said/thought it was cancelled. She said, "nope, all they have to do is ask". I am not gunna get one right now, but I just wanted to tell ya.

It was merely delayed because of the testing on the exhaust... Lexus does have high standards afterall. One will be for the dealership, and then another model for the aftermarket crowd that wants a bit more oomf in their exhaust.

The difference in power will be too little to feel.

if people are saying 4hp gain.. then you're probably not going to feel it on a 300hp car. You'll feel the sound psychologically making you think it's faster

now if it's like 10whp then you should feel it~
