Default srt intake of gs 430

i recently just put the intake on and the chip that comes with it.. the car seems like it has more power at higher speeds. but less at lower. have you heard of this. i did not soder,, does that matter.

the srt will give more top end but i'm not sure if you actually lose any in the lower or mid, maybe it just feels that way. I have the Injen Intake and i feel it gives more in the mid which is where i like it and hardly any gain in the top end. and it's way more affordable

YES

i did not soder,, does that matter.

SRT CALLS FOR YOU TO SOLDER.....U SHOULD HAVE

thanks, i will soder them. i have to take the chip off today because lexus is looking at the car again the check engine light keeps coming on last time i replaced the engine ecu. it was very expensive and i dont want them to void the warranty on the part.

Did your CEL start coming on after your SRT install or was that issue before?
Are you taking it in to the dealer w/ SRT ecu unpluged and intake still on? It will barley run that way.

Make sure all of your clamps and rubber seals are TIGHT! Definetly solder the connections, no twisting and taping here. Many here say there is a loss of low end power with this setup and it could be true. To me it feels like stock at the low end but when the rpms hit 2500 plus it really takes off thus increasing the sensation of no low end power. Hope you can get it to work out.
