Default any unusual drag from fujita intake?

i got my fujita intake installed and noticed that sometimes when driving, the vehicle lags in 3rd or 4th gear (automatic tranny) and it will stay there and slowly come back down to 1st gear, i find it weird it wont shift up to kick into lower rpm and then come back down? i was wondering if this is normal or has something to do with the intake or not? the drag is pretty noticible, sometimes i have to put it into manual shift to shift up cuz i know its not good for the car.

please let me know if other owners with fujita intake have this issue or is it something temporary that will go away after it "breaks in" to my driving habits. thanks.

Can you possibley explain when this is happening, for example at take off, or after take off or when slowing down?

This sounds strange, never heard of it.

Ok, it wont shift UP (as in from 3rd to 4th) to kick into lower gear?

i am referring to when i am slowing down for a red light ahead. Say i am going 40 or so mph, the car will just drag in 3rd/4th gear and come back down to 1st gear. it wont shift up to the next gear, it will simply stay in the same gear and come back down slowly.

i hope that helps

1st = Try taking it out of PWR / ETC mode

2nd = If it is not in PWR / ETC, try moving it there and see what happens.

3rd = Try Snow Mode, and see if u notice any differnece.

I honestly think it has nothing to do with the intake.

Actually, the car might think you are about to speed up, and thats why it is holding on to 3rd/4th gear...

Do you have the transmission set to ECT-Power mode?

That sounds normal. When you're slowing down for a red light, the car wont shift up to a higher gear.
