Default Engine noise need help!!!!!!

I have a small engine noise that is driving me crazzy an as weel broke. Ive spent well over 3,500 dollars trying to figure out what is wrong. I took the car to a local Toyota dealership thinking that I needed a valve adjustment, but turns out that didnt sove it, so they checked the cams, that wasnt it, took the entire block and sent it to a machine shop got it back together and still have the same ticking sound as if it needs a valve adjustment. Please help running out of patience and money.

I think my car may be developing the same problem. It's a ticking sound coming from the drivers side engine bay. I can hear it as if it's just behind the tire. It may be an exhaust leak, but not sure. Anyone else had a ticking sound coming from their car and solved the issue?
